Not even a glance ...

Anxious ...

Falling to the ground
I was anxious to be found
You can always go home
To the safety of your cloud

Don't let go
I need you to hang around
I am so broke
And foolishly in love

I turned around to love revealing
What did I learn, it's not that easy
When you get burned and go on burning light

Falling into sound
Is a less defeating path
One day we will go home
To the safety of our clouds

Don't let go
I need you to hang around
I'm so broke
And foolishly in love

I turned around, my life was changing
What did I learn, it's not that easy
When you get burned and go on burning light

Don't let go
I need you to hang around
I'm so broke
And foolishly in love

I turned around, my life was changing
What did I learn, it's not that easy
When you get burned and go on burning light

Solitude ...

There are days when solitude is a heady wine that intoxicates you with freedom,
others when it is a bitter tonic,
and still others when it is a poison that makes you beat your head against the wall.

Nothing ...

A Minute ...

Gradually ...

Hemingway has his classic moment in "The Sun Also Rises" when someone asks Mike Campbell how he went bankrupt. All he can say is, "Gradually, then suddenly."
That's how depression hits. You wake up one morning, afraid that you're gonna live.

Depending on ...

I’d been sitting at the bar for three hours,
... or five years!
Depending on the way you looked at things.

Hey you ...

Hey you, out there in the cold
Getting lonely, getting old
Can you feel me?
Hey you, standing in the aisles
With itchy feet and fading smiles
Can you feel me?
Hey you, dont help them to bury the light
Don't give in without a fight.

Hey you, out there on your own
Sitting naked by the phone
Would you touch me?
Hey you, with you ear against the wall
Waiting for someone to call out
Would you touch me?
Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone?
Open your heart, I'm coming home.

But it was only fantasy.
The wall was too high,
As you can see.
No matter how he tried,
He could not break free.
And the worms ate into his brain.

Hey you, out there on the road
always doing what you're told,
Can you help me?
Hey you, out there beyond the wall,
Breaking bottles in the hall,
Can you help me?
Hey you, don't tell me there's no hope at all
Together we stand, divided we fall.

Tired ...

Please ...

Dance ...

Natasha brings me kisses in the moonlight,
She kneels above me, silk upon my skin,
I reach for her, and I can feel her heartbeat,
Beneath her breast so heavy in my hand;
The rain is running rivers on my window,
And shimmers on the streetlights down below,
She's happy when I hold her in the shadows,
And whispers of a life I've never known;
And will you dance, Natasha dance for me,
Because I want to feel the passion in your soul,
And when you dance, will you tell me in a story,
The joy and pain of living in your world;
La la la, la la la, la la la la ...
And with the light I wake up in the morning,
And she has gone, it must have been a dream,
And then I see the roses on my pillow,
And now I know that she will come again;
And she will dance, Natasha dance for me,
Again I want to feel the passion in your soul,
And when you move, will you show me in a story,
The joy and pain of living in your world;
Natasha dance for me ...

Cold ...
