These broken wings can take me no further,
I'm lost, and out at sea,
I thought these wings would hold me forever,
And on to eternity,
And far away I can hear your voice,
I can hear it in the silence of the morning,
But these broken wings have let me down,
They can't even carry me home.
....
Oh when I left I believed that nothing would go wrong,
I thought the whole world would be waiting for my story,
Take me back, my love, I need you now,
Come back and carry me home,
Take me back and heal these broken wings,
Come back and carry me home.
- Chris de Burgh, Broken Wings
I'm waiting for the hurricane.
I'm waiting for the hurricane......Itss on itss way!!
ReplyDeleteIts the law of evolution that you should always be dynamic to changes arround you, and the ups and downs of your road!!!
So you cant blame your goal /or your leaving, cuz thats part of changing and adapting, you could, though, blame your self for not planning ahead!!and not taking precautions=like spare wings!
That's what I was trying to say.
ReplyDeleteIn that case, I think, the you should write the next poem on a higher level, and each time one level higher.
